State Rep. Jeff Hilovsky visited the Oak Orchard Riverdale Boys & Girls Club (7/31) to speak to a group of nearly two dozen youths about leadership and life lessons.
Among the “rules for life” included in the presentation were:
— It’s never the wrong time to start doing the right thing.
— The “job” is never done – always seek improvement.
— Look for opportunities to help others.
— Embrace gratitude.
— Live a life of honor.
Rep. Hilovsky volunteers to teach free classes on leadership throughout the community, including regular seminars with guest speakers at three area high schools.
