Governor John Carney will deliver his 2023 State of the State Address on Thursday to the General Assembly in Legislative Hall.
The annual speech promotes the administration’s perceived accomplishments over the preceding year, while drawing a broad sketch of the governor’s vision for the upcoming year.
The details of these plans will largely unfold over the next several months, starting the following Thursday (January 26) when the governor will present his proposed state operating and capital budgets for the upcoming fiscal year (FY 2024).
