Access to educational services is vital for Delawareans and ensuring equal opportunities was a goal of the Senate Republicans during the 151st General Assembly.
Senator Wilson spearheaded this effort by drafting and introducing Senate Bill 106. A constituent-driven bill, SB 106 ensures that homeschool students with disabilities are eligible for the same services as those in public and private schools, including speech therapy. The legislation passed both chambers unanimously and became law in July 2021.
