There are many problems with Senate Bill 6 that have been debated on social media, in committees, and prior to the floor votes.
One consequence, likely unintended, was that it would prevent manufacturers of large-capacity magazines to continue operations, even if the magazines are primarily sold to law enforcement and the U.S. military.
To remedy this, I introduced Senate Bill 323. SB 323 allows the one manufacturer in our state to continue production and will save nearly 100 good paying jobs.
The bill passed both the Senate and House and was signed by Governor Carney on June 30th.
