Sports and leisure activities are permitted at the beach and it’s finally opening! But many small businesses have struck out, struggling to reopen and survive in this economic climate. Delaware’s economy is at stake.
This is a challenging time to be campaigning …I’m fighting for bold economic policies to avoid a state recession. I’ve helped small businesses make their pitch to reopen and we are finally seeing the results. While some remain on the bench waiting for Delaware’s economy to reopen fully, others had the advantage to staying open! One thing is clear: this is more than a practice or a game. It’s survival and recovery. I won’t sit back and allow government to pick the winners and losers during this pandemic. It’s time to level the playing field and reopen Delaware’s economy for business!
