March for Life

Posted on 01-10-2023

Important! Local March for Life is January 19th in Dover at Noon.

From the State Council of the Knights of Columbus

Our Council is sponsoring a March for Life on Thurs. Jan. 19, 2023, at 12 noon at the Delaware General Assembly in Dover.

As you know the U. S. Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade and left the abortion issue up to the states.

There will still be a March for Life in Washington, D.C. on Friday, January 2023.  However, since the issue is now a state issue, we believe it is more important to focus our attention on the Delaware General Assembly.

The Delaware Right to Life March is being held the day before the National March because the Delaware General Assembly does not convene on Fridays in January.

As our State Council Life Director, we are requesting that you disseminate this information to all State Council officers, all District Deputies and all Grand Knights to encourage them and all Delaware Council members and their families to attend this Rosary-oriented event.

Bob Wolhar, Grand Knight, Star of the Sea Council 7297.
