*Good newsletter however, the lead article claims that voter turnout was 42% and the GOP turnout was “a good bit lower than that” which is not accurate. Statewide GOP turnout was 52%, Dem turnout was 42% and Ind/Other turnout was 32% for a total turnout of 42% (the newsletter is accurate on that point).
No doubt, we need to keep working to get even more than a 10% advantage in voter turnout but regardless of how much of an advantage we can acheive on turnout %, we need to convert some of the I’s and D’s to our side in order to win.
We are only bringing this up because a few comments that inaccurately state the GOP turnout was lower than Dem turnout.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The 2022 Annual Meeting of DSSA Members will be held
on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the FOP Lodge #3,
located at 1584 Kitts Hummock Road, Dover, DE 19901.
Kitts Hummock Road is the first exit south of Dover AFB
from Route 1, in Dover. This meeting is for MEMBERS
ONLY. Doors will open at noon. The business meeting
will begin at 1:00 p.m. Please come and join us!
