Election Day is in 18 days, but you don’t have to wait until then to cast your vote!!

Overall, citizens have three options for voting in November’s General Election:

I. VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT (if eligible)

Absentee voting information and eligibility can be found on the department’s website at https://de.gov/absenteevoting or by contacting the department. *You may also request an absentee ballot online at https://ivote.de.gov.

II. IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING PRIOR TO ELECTION DAY (November 8, 2022) at an Early Voting location in your county of residence

III. This year you can early vote at any early voting location in your county from Friday, October 28th to Sunday, November 6th and be among the first to vote for Democrats in this year’s critical election!

*For any citizens that had already requested a vote-by-mail ballot, the Department of Elections will be sending a letter indicating that vote-by-mail is not an option, but that absentee voting is. The letter will include an application for an absentee ballot. Absentee voting allows citizens to vote by mail, but only for specific qualifying reasons, such as an inability to get to the polls due to a work conflict, vacation, or physical impairment.
