Delaware Agriculture Week 2021 will be Delaware Agriculture Month!

Posted on 01-06-2021

The 2021 Delaware Agriculture Week will be held via live, virtual sessions throughout January 2021.

The organizers of Delaware Agriculture Week are committed to continuing the tradition of delivering timely, valuable information and research updates from trusted experts and industry leaders. Opportunities to earn credits for pest management, nutrient management, and CCA credits will be made available. More information on session dates and agendas will be coming in the near future.

Delaware Agriculture Week gets underway next week, with a couple of changes for 2021.

The annual event offers timely updates and continuing education for farmers, including opportunities to earn pest and nutrient management accreditation. However, it also has content intended for non-professionals. This year’s offerings include the following sessions: Opportunities in Aquaculture, Backyard Poultry, Woodland Management, and Urban Agriculture.

In a departure from previous years, sessions will start next Monday and extend through the month. Additionally, in recognition of the current public health considerations imposed by COVID-19, all sessions will be held online.
