DE Low Emission Vehicle Program- PUBLIC WORKSHOP
Rep. Collins : ” DNREC is planning on having “Public Workshops” on the EV proposed mandate that our illustrious Governor wishes to impose on the state of Delaware. The public can have their say next Tuesday and Thursday via zoom. All of you who drive pickups or have light trucks should pay particular attention to what the Governor’s proposed mandate will require. Those of us who drive passenger vehicles need to speak up as well. If the public does not voice their strong opposition to this, we will continue to become subservient citizens to the state.”
The purpose of this action is to amend 7 DE Admin. Code 1140, to update the adoption by reference of Californias Advance Clean Car II (ACC II) low emission vehicle and greenhouse gas standards and add the requirements for zero emitting vehicles for model year 2026 and beyond. The ACC II regulations will reduce criteria and greenhouse gas emissions from new light- and medium-duty vehicles beyond the 2025 model year as well as add the new requirements for zero emission vehicles.
