BRADY BULLETIN March 16, 2023
You may have heard about the Delaware Electric Car Mandate. We are forwarding information about five town hall meetings.
Beginning in 2025, it will become increasingly difficult to purchase a gasoline-powered car or small truck. The regulations are being prepared and will be formally announced soon. The General Assembly won’t even get a chance to vote on it.
Over the next several weeks, there will be five town halls across the state so that everyone will better understand what these new regulations mean to families and small businesses in Delaware. What is the real effect on the climate? Are there enough batteries and electricity for everyone? Who will be impacted most?
There will be a statewide series of town hall events regarding the proposed electric vehicle mandate beginning this coming Tuesday, March 21st, at the Indian River Senior Center in Millsboro. Each of the five begin at 6:30 p.m. and will last approximately two hours. Organizers encourage those who wish to attend to RSVP at www.noevmandate.com
– March 21st: Indian River Senior Center, Millsboro
– March 23rd: Brandywine Hundred Firehall, Bellefonte/North Wilmington
– March 28th: 160 Peoples Plaza, Newark/Glasgow
– March 29th: Camden-Wyoming Firehall, Kent County

Please mark your calendar for the event near you and let’s understand what this means and STOP the Delaware Electric Car Mandate!
