Thursday morning, Senator Dave Wilson, Senator Eric Buckson, and Senator Dave Lawson, presented Harvey Houck Jr with a Delaware Senate tribute on his 100th birthday. Happy Birthday Mr. Houck and thank you for your service!
Mr. Houck is a United States Army veteran who served our nation in World War II. Following his service, he attended Cornell University where he received a degree in engineering.

Mr. Houck is an inspiration and represents the best of America. I was able to speak with him just prior to the celebration and caught his sense of humor. I thanked him for his service and also thanked him for “hanging around this long.” Without hesitation, Mr. Houck responded, “Well, it took a long time to get here!” Mr. Houck, I hope you had a great birthday and thank you for your honorable service to our nation!”
