The quickest and most convenient way to request a Vote By Mail (VBM) ballot is to visit the voter portal, iVote, and follow the instructions there to request a ballot.

Receiving Your Ballot
VBM ballots may be mailed to voters thirty (30) days prior to the General Election, and will begin to be mailed the week of October 5th to voters who have applied by then, and will continue to be mailed through October 30th to voters based on applications submitted as they are received and processed.
Returning The Ballot
You may mail back your ballot or drop your ballot off at your county election office. Secure ballot drop boxes are available in each county office, as well as in the lobby of the Carvel State Office Building. PLEASE NOTE: Ballots may NOT be dropped off at polling places.
On Election Day (Tuesday, 11/3/2020): Secure ballot drop boxes are open until 8:00PM.
NOTE: Please be sure to place your competed ballot in a drop box at the county elections office that issued your ballot.
