Saturday’s Vaccination Event in Georgetown

On Saturday, Senator Lopez and I visited the COVID-19 vaccination event at the Georgetown DMV to thank all of the volunteers and front line workers who helped operate the drive-thru clinic. Despite the wait time and other hurdles, the event turned out to be a huge success. 4,940 individuals received the COVID-19 vaccine this weekend in Georgetown and to date, over 21,000 Delawareans have been vaccinated.

Additional Methods to Reserve Your COVID-19 Vaccination

It is highly recommended the online system be used, but those without computer access may call the COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at:

The Delaware Division of Public Health is working with federal, state, and local stakeholders to implement an efficient and equitable distribution of one or more COVID-19 vaccines to all Delaware communities. It is the goal of DPH to make safe and effective COVID-19 vaccination available through a phased allocation, or rollout, first to health care workers, including those who care for vulnerable populations, and other first responders, followed closely by vulnerable populations and critical infrastructure workers, and then expand opportunities that are inclusive of all who live or work in Delaware.
